Paisley Park - Tour Guide

Working at Paisley Park as a tour guide has been a truly incredible experience, connecting with amazing people who loved Price and his music.  At Paisley Park I when through long training learning a lot of information about Prince and Paisley Park but also gained a lot of peoples skills talking in front of people for hours. My job is to continue the legacy of prince giving tours to people coming from all over the world, creating memories and emotional connections.

Periscope Artist Management - Blue Ox festival Internship

My internship at Periscope Artist Management brought a pretty amazing experience getting to be apart of the Blue Ox Festival artist relations crew. At this festival I set up the backstage, checked artist in, moved gear to and from stage and made sure every artist was happy with their experience. Also, during the festival weekend we ended up having a massive storm so I saw what needs to happen when something unexpecting comes up during the festival. This was a great experience and I met amazing people, I hope to work with them again in the future

University of St. Thomas Stage Manager

At St. Thomas I work as a stage manager for music major recitals and performances.  For this job I set up the stage for the performance, set the lights they want, and do anything to the make the performance perfect for the performer. I also record the entire performance then master the recording through Logic Pro X and then send that to the performer. This job gave me an understanding of stage management as well as giving me the usefulness steps on recording a performers performance.

Rusty Taco - Cook, Expo, Cashier, and Catering

At Rusty Taco I found myself learning all sorts of trades in the food industry. My first job working there was on expo, putting toppings on tacos and helping make chips. After a year I then moved onto the food truck where I worked for another 3 years.  During these years I learned how to cook, cashier, cater at events and learned how to run the entire truck.  My last year working there I became shift lead taking the truck out on my own with two other employees. This was a great experience because I learned a lot of useful skills of how to make customers happy in anyway by giving them the best service they asked for. Though working in a food truck isn't ideal, it was still a fun, amazing place to work and it prepared me for any work environment I'll see.
