Music Industry Club
My freshman year at St. Thomas I decided to join the Music Industry Club. This club is focused on bringing in local people from the music industry and learn about their own experiences. We also put on concerts as well as help release the St. Thomas Sampler CD which features St. Thomas artist. My junior year I was lucky enough to join the club to SXSW in Austin, Texas. My senior year I was offered a spot as a board member of the club with the role as treasurer.
White Bear Lake Food Shelf
For my business 200 class at St. Thomas I worked with the non profit, White Bear Lake food self doing data analytics for them as well as being a back up food stocker whenever they need it. This was a very unique experience and I was grateful for what I learned and who I met working there.
Healing Haiti
When I was 15 years old I took a trip with my church to Haiti to work with Healing Haiti. During this trip we brought water to areas that didn't have clean water sources, as well as deliver food for the sick and disabled, and also helped at healing Haiti's orphanage and school. During this experience I found how music connects the world together. Though I couldn't speak with many of these kids music was our way of communicating and I found that to be very powerful.
